John Cameron Mitchell (natural April 21, 1963) is an American writer, actor, and director.

He created & starred when Hedwig around Hedwig and the Angry Inch, an off-Broadway musical play (1998) and movie (2001). He besides starred when Dickon in the Broadway musical theater version of The Secret Garden and can be heard on the original cast recording.

Cameron Mitchell was natural inside El Paso, Texas. His father occurs as out officer in the U.S. Army, and Cameron Mitchell grew up on army bases and in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His mother is from either Scotland and emigrated to the United States as a young woman.
